I’m Jasper.
I’m currently a third-year Software Engineering student at NHL Stenden in Leeuwarden. I like to look at problems from unique angles. I’m building a foundation in software engineering while exploring how thoughtful designs make those tools easier to use.
Currently focusing on Data Science and Security of Web3 assets.
In my free time, I like to make small projects that I can learn from and use in day-to-day life. Some are more useful than others. The most important part is that I enjoy what I’m doing.
Outside of coding, I enjoy gaming, travelling, trading the markets, reading, and a little tomfoolery along the way.
Learning in Thailand.
While studying in Thailand, I took two minors: Design Asia and Digital Entrepreneurship.
Design Asia introduced me to Asian culture and arts, with a particular focus on filmmaking and video editing.
Digital Entrepreneurship explored what it takes to start a digital company. By developing a fictional business, I learned about the processes involved in starting a company, alongside UI and web design, networking, and presenting a business idea.
